Another piano song written during one of my sleepless nights.
One night, I just couldn't get myself to sleep. So, I decided to make use of this time and write a song. I opened up my laptop and keyboard and...boom.... the opening piano line was written.
2 hours later, the music to a new Greyfade song came to life.

Then, i looked into my lyrics library and found an old poem (dare I say) that I've written about watching someone's life slowly slipping away in a hospital.
I never was able to fit those lyrics into any music and turn them into a song, although I always imagined them to be sung very similarly to how this song ended up being.

Alas, during that sleepless night, All the signs of life was born.

It is a really sad and somber song, with a slow tempo depicting a person slowly walking in a hospital hallway as a loved one battles for his life, and in the end... losing the fight.
