The Untold Truth

by Greyfade

A very profound song written about losing a loved one due to the inability to express one's true feeling and emotions. The loss of true to love to the vanity of pride.

The song has one of my favorite lyrics that I've written.

Mr. Mounir Baalbaki recorded the bass for the song in my home studio in Dubai. Thanks bro.

We say the words we don't want to hear
We blur the image that once was clear
Our inside thoughts are buried in fear
Our lies have led us to a sea of tears

In our lives, we may encounter happy moments
But we live an eternity of sad days
In us, we might have the right components
But we screw it up in so many ways

Captives of our pride
Prisoners of our lies
Truth shall always hide
In the screams of our cries.... yeah

Behind our veils
Two broken souls
Our ships have sailed
We built a wall
